The challenge
Labelling film that changes speed and stops.
The packaging film does not travel at a constant speed: it accelerates, decelerates and stops during the packaging cycle. The challenge was to synchronise label application with this variable movement, continuously adapting the head speed to the actual film travel.
The solution
The head follows film movement in real time.
The system copies the film travel speed and adapts label application to its variations. The solution was developed entirely to measure, coordinating the integration with the vertical packaging machine manufacturer.
